Description

Explore the opportunities, challenges, and benefits in collaborating on digital resource repositories and related services within and among the UC Libraries. Suggested by the CDL in recognition of accelerating interest/concern by the CDL, slide libraries, campus collections, new technologies.

Status

July 2003: Art and architecture slides have been digitized and made available for searching and classroom display. The service is supported by the CDL and a development agreement with the vendor. Images from locally owned collections can be added and a pilot service allows searching across both local and commercial collections of images.
